The project is based on a fully sustainable energy concept, with climate protection and resource efficiency consistently prioritized throughout the construction process and in the choice of solutions: To reduce the project’s carbon footprint, ZÜBLIN is using around 12.000 m³ CO₂-reduced concrete from Spenner Herkules. Since CO₂-reduced concrete takes longer to harden, Doka supports the process with the concrete monitoring solution Concremote. Using sensor technology, the early-age compressive strength is continuously tracked, enabling the efficient and safe application of CO₂-reduced concrete. Soon, Concremote will be seamlessly integrated into Doka 360, the first platform digitalizing the entire formwork process. In addition, Doka is supplying the formwork solutions for the project, including 4,500 m² of DokaXdek tables. DokaXdek is Doka’s latest slab formwork system, offering versatile applications and flexible combinations for a wide range of construction needs. The construction project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2026. How to keep ambitious timelines on track in one of Colombia’s most space-restricted urban environments? 🤔 Sun City, a 22-storey, 75-metre-high residential tower, is taking shape in one of Colombia’s most space-restricted urban environments. Developed by ACTÚA DESARROLLOS S.A.S. in partnership with Urbacolombia, the project stands out not only for its modern sea-view apartments, but also because of the demanding site conditions in the dense urban fabric of Cartagena de Indias. The main challenges include limited space for logistics, ambitious timelines, and the resulting specific safety requirements. These conditions called for solutions that deliver efficiency and high safety standards. Doka has therefore provided a customized formwork concept. The automatic climbing formwork SKE100 plus, combined with the Framed formwork Frami Xlife, supports the construction of the central core by enabling fast and safe repositioning. 🏙️ For the exterior walls, the automatic climbing formwork Xclimb 60 was used together with the Top 50 facade formwork, allowing for high-quality exposed concrete finishes that met the project's architectural standards. In an environment where every square meter matters, our automatic climbing systems maximize the use of available space and provide the level of efficiency required for this project. A new retention basin is taking shape at Janské Lázně ski resort, Czechia. 🚀 Right below the resort’s base station, a 15,000 m³ retention basin is currently under construction. It will secure the water supply for technical snowmaking, enabling coverage of up to 6 km of slopes right at the start of the ski season. 🎿 Plus, the basin’s surface will also provide parking for 80 vehicles. The team from Stavirezek is relying on Doka Czechia’s solutions - tailored to meet the complex geometry and alpine conditions on site. The structural phase was scheduled for completion in just five months – an ambitious timeline for the Orthopaedicum Trier project. Weiler Bau GmbH & Co. KG brought Doka on board as their formwork partner, with the goal of ensuring on-time progress through smart system selection and digital support. The team relied on the new 𝗗𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗫𝗱𝗲𝗸 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 – lightweight, ergonomic and designed down to the smallest detail. Whether during forming or stripping: DokaXdek brought true efficiency to the site, enabling high-speed cycling even under tight time constraints. The hardware was complemented by smart software: 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲, our real-time concrete monitoring system, became the digital nerve center on site. Concrete strength development was tracked live, and the exact stripping time was determined based on data. This ensured that construction progressed not only quickly, but also strategically and with full control at all times. Real-time concrete pressure monitoring at the N16 Tavannes–Bözingenfeld bridge project. 🚀 On the new bridge construction project N16 Tavannes–Bözingenfeld TP2, DokaXact Pressure was successfully used during the concreting of a retaining wall. It was combined with our large-area, pre-assembled formwork Top 50 at a forming height of 8.00 m and a concreting height of 7.50 m. To ensure maximum safety and transparency during the concreting process, the Swiss Federal Roads Office (OFROU) and contractor Walo Bertschinger AG opted for DokaXact Pressure to continuously monitor the concrete pressure in real time. This allowed for seamless real-time monitoring of fresh concrete pressure throughout the entire concreting process. During the operation, the system recorded a peak pressure of approximately 50 kN/m². 🏗️ Digital solutions like DokaXact not only enhance safety but also make data-based decisions on site work. Soon DokaXact will be seamlessly integrated in Doka 360. It is the first platform digitalizing the entire formwork process. 𝗗𝗲𝗿 𝗭𝘂𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗳𝘁 𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘂𝘀 - 𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗞𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝟯 𝗸𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻 Die @ramseiergruppe aus Bern durfte gestern das weltweit erste DoKart 3 in Empfang nehmen. Es handelt sich dabei um das derzeit einzige verfügbare Exemplar der Neuentwicklung, welche vor wenigen Monaten auf der bauma in München vorgestellt wurde. Die neuste Generation des Umsetzwagens bietet u.a. eine standardmässige Hubhöhe von 4,43 m (Deckenhöhe 7,10 m mit Aufsatzrahmen), automatisierbare Abläufe, sowie neue Features für mehr Sicherheit und Benutzerfreundlichkeit. August Gander, Vertriebsleiter der Doka Schweiz AG übergab Remo Brunner, Geschäftsführer Neubau bei Ramseier Baunnternehmung AG gestern feierlich die Schlüsselkarten. Damit werden in Zukunft gleich zwei DoKart bei Ramseier im regelmässigen Einsatz stehen und für ein einfaches, schnelles und sicheres Umsetzen der Deckentische sorgen. Im Anschluss an die Übergabe folgte eine Einschulung für die Baustellenmannschaft sowie ein gemütliches Grillfest, wo auf die neue Errungenschaft angestossen wurde. Wir danken der Firma Ramseier Bauunternehmung AG für Euer Vertrauen und wünschen Euch viele erfolgreiche Projekte. Das neue DoKart 3 wird voraussichtlich im Verlauf des Jahres 2026 offiziell im Markt eingeführt. In addition to high-performance systems and smart digital solutions, success comes above all from the partnership-based collaboration between Finsterwalder Bau Union GmbH and Doka. On site, 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘅 𝗫𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 wall formwork and 𝗗𝗼𝗸𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝟮𝟬 slab formwork – both strong in fast forming of large areas – are used, along with 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘅𝗼 𝟰𝟬 and 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘅𝗼 𝟭𝟬𝟬 load-bearing towers. 𝗫𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝘂𝘀 and 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀 ensure safe working. Connecting two of India’s megacities across challenging terrain – supported by Doka’s formwork solutions. 🚀 The “Missing Link” is a 13.3 km infrastructure project designed to bypass the Khandala Ghat section of the Mumbai-Pune Expressway – an area known for steep gradients, hairpin bends and landslide risks. Once completed, it will cut travel distance by over six kilometres and reduce journey time by around 30 minutes. The contractor Afcons Infrastructure Ltd. is constructing, among other elements, a 650 m-long cable-stayed bridge with four diamond-shaped pylons, each 181.77 m tall – among the highest in India. 🏗️ Doka supports the construction of these pylons with tailored formwork solutions. Due to their complex geometry and inclined surfaces, Doka’s Xclimb60 Short Track and Automatic climbing formwork SKE100 plus were combined. The customised formwork solution continuously adapts to the changing shape of the pylons, enabling precise and efficient progress on both the simpler and more complex sections.
