Building the next generation of Women Engineers at Camp Engies 🧐 This past weekend, Trench Canada proudly joined Camp Engies in Muskoka as a first-time sponsor. This incredible Canadian initiative brings together hundreds of girls from across the country – for an immersive weekend designed to spark curiosity and confidence in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Our colleagues Selim Hostut and Renata Carneiro represented Trench on site. As judges of the final STEM challenge, they had the chance to witness firsthand the talent, creativity, and leadership potential of these future engineers. Renata also delivered a powerful talk to the campers – answering questions, sharing her journey as engineer, and encouraging the girls to dream big and lead boldly. 🎉 Trench Austria is growing – expanding production capacities in Leonding Yesterday, we celebrated a major step in our journey at Trench Austria: the official opening of our expanded production site in Leonding. A significant milestone in our investment initiative leading to a doubling of capacities in Austria. We were honored to celebrate this special moment together with distinguished political representatives and renowned customers and with highlights, such as the inspiring opening speech by Governor Thomas Stelzer , who marked our investment as an important sign for the region. In a powerful panel discussion Daniela Limberger ( Agentur für Standort und Wirtschaft Leonding GmbH ), Dr. Christoph Ploetner ( IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) ), David Magongo ( NamPower ), Oliver Krause ( 50Hertz Transmission GmbH ), and Trench Group CEO Dr. Bahadir Basdere discussed how we can enable the energy transition. One thing was clear: The energy transition needs collaboration, commitment, and long-term investments globally – thank you for the valuable and insightful discussion! 🚀 Trench Group expands in North America We’re investing over $60 million in a new bushing production facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.
