DSV is proud to announce the official opening of its new state-of-the-art air freight facility at Brussels Airport. Natalie Segers, MD for the Air & Sea division in Belgium: “This energy-neutral warehouse, built to the highest environmental standards, represents a major milestone in our long-term commitment to the Belgian market and our strategic positioning at the heart of European logistics.” Importantly, 50% of the warehouse is dedicated to Healthcare logistics, offering fully compliant, temperature-controlled environments (2°-8°C, 15°-25°C and -20°C) for pharmaceuticals and life science products. More than 213 million children in 146 countries and territories will require humanitarian assistance in 2025, UNICEF estimates. At DSV, we are proud to expand our existing strategic partnership with UNICEF to support this important work. The enhanced agreement builds on the existing partnership established in 2024 and enables DSV to support UNICEF with even more in-kind flights during emergencies. At DSV - Global Transport and Logistics we are proud of our continued partnership with UNICEF , supporting their mission to deliver humanitarian aid and supplies wherever and whenever needed. Since the start of this collaboration, we have worked closely with UNICEF to provide free air transport in response to a number of conflicts and disasters. Recently, we have shipped over 30 tonnes of vital medical equipment, tents to increase patient capacity and isolation units for infectious diseases to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to support mpox outbreak response. These complex shipments were managed by our dedicated Aid & Relief Control Tower, which specialises in handling aid shipments into challenging markets. This is another example of how we can utilise our expertise and mobilise our global transport and logistics network to overcome operational challenges.
