Austria has what it takes — the know-how, the infrastructure, and the drive — to become a major player in Europe’s quantum tech scene. 💯 At the ESBS Austria Conference, our CEO Christina Hirschl and Helmut Leopold from AIT Austrian Institute of Technology laid out a bold vision: Austria stepping up as a key force in the European quantum ecosystem. We’re already strong in all the big areas — quantum computing, sensing, and communication. And with the global quantum market expected to hit $80 billion by 2035, the opportunities are huge. 🌟 And Austria’s not starting from scratch. We’ve got a solid track record in photonics technologies, cutting-edge work in quantum chip fabrication, and companies that are already building world-class quantum hardware and software. 💡 To stay ahead, we need to invest in startups, develop talent, and build the right regulatory frameworks. Most importantly, we need to work together — researchers, companies, and policymakers — to turn Austria into a true quantum innovation hub.
