#insiderotax Meet Andreas Hofmann, Treasury Analyst at BRP-Rotax. Since joining in 2023, Andreas has been driving initiatives that strengthen the company’s financial resilience. His focus: managing supplier financial health, optimizing cash flows, implementing a supply chain finance solution, and supporting risk mitigation strategies to secure BRP-Rotax’s long-term stability. For Andreas, Treasury is more than numbers. It’s about enabling sustainable business decisions, streamlining financial processes, and safeguarding operational flexibility. This 1989 Scheibe Falke motorglider was the very first airframe in which a Rotax 912 prototype engine was installed. The success story of our 9-series aviation engines began right here. Hangared in Wels, it is still equipped with the 80 hp carbureted engine as originally developed. After logging 6,500 flight hours and now operating on its fourth or fifth engine, it is still flying strong 💪 #flyrotax #aviationlovers #avgeek #generalaviation #rotax912

How do you bring future mobility to life? At BRP-Rotax, we do it with innovation that moves and a strong regional foundation. 💪 As part of Zukunft.Mobilität 2025, we welcomed experts to our Gunskirchen site, offering exclusive insights into how innovation is engineered every day by combining technological expertise and sustainable development. Our experts showcased insights into how we develop future-ready drive technologies. Particularly impressive was the experience in our EV R&D, where our guests witnessed how components and systems are engineered and brought to life. Furthermore, participants were able to delve directly into our innovation mindset during a live Q&A with Stefan Arndt , Peter Ölsinger , Martin Riedelsberger , and Thomas P. . Because innovation thrives on strong partnerships, open exchange, and the courage to rethink what’s possible. This tour reflects exactly that spirit – and underlines the significant role our region plays in shaping the mobility of tomorrow. We’re proud to be part of Zukunft.Mobilität 2025, initiated by Business Upper Austria , and to contribute as a key mobility player in Upper Austria. #BRPRotax #FutureMobility #InnovationInMotion #EngineeringExcellence #UpperAustria #CanAm #ZukunftMobilität25
"See it. Turn it. Understand it. A real Rotax engine – normally used in Ski-Doo snowmobiles – now lives in a school classroom in Gunskirchen. Not for driving. But perfect for learning. 🔧✌️ We’ve donated this engine to the Mittelschule Gunskirchen so students can get hands-on with real tech and see how mechanics work from the inside out. It’s all about sparking curiosity – and maybe even inspiring the next generation of engineers right here in our region. Because nothing explains technology better than the real thing. #brprotax #learningbydoing #nextgeneration #STEMeducation #mechanics #handsontools #gunskirchen #passiondrivesus"
When education meets engineering, inspiration begins. How do we bring technical education to life for young students? By turning abstract concepts into something they can touch, see – and truly understand. That’s exactly what we’ve done with the Mittelschule Gunskirchen, where a real Rotax engine is now used as a permanent teaching exhibit. Normally used in Ski-Doo snowmobiles the specially by our apprentices prepared engine now provides a unique chance to experience real mechanical engineering up close. Students can explore the engine’s components, understand how they interact, and gain insights into real-world powertrain technology – far beyond what’s in a textbook. "Getting young people excited about technology starts with experience and understanding," explains Mario Gebetshuber , General Manager at BRP-Rotax, VP Global Sourcing / Operations Powertrain & Rotax Propulsion Systems, who officially presented the engine during a school visit. "By providing practical insights into the world of engines, we want to inspire young talents and awaken their interest in technology." This collaboration with the school is part of our long-standing commitment to regional engagement and education – because the engineers of tomorrow are already here, and they’re curious. Thank you to Sven Daubenmerkl and Sylvia Ehrenegger from Mittelschule Gunskirchen and everyone involved from the BRP-Rotax team. 📖 Full article here: https://lnkd.in/dRYaqCTp #STEM #EducationMatters #RealLearning #BRPRotax #PoweringPassion #EngineeringFuture #Gunskirchen
