Learning across borders 🌍: As part of a two-week exchange, two apprentices from Greiner Bio-One in Kremsmünster (Austria) and Frickenhausen (Germany) recently had the chance to swap workplaces and gain international experience. This program enables our junior staff to gain practical experience abroad, learn about new work processes, strengthen their independence and social skills, and develop a deeper understanding of international cooperation. Stefan Strassmeir, Training Manager at Greiner Bio-One International sums it up as follows: “Gaining experience plays a central role in personal development, learning, and success in life.” We are committed to supporting the next generation of qualified professionals and will continue to help them broaden their horizons in the future 🌟.

Leadership Change at NEVEON – A transition that reflects our strong internal culture and our commitment to empowering talent from within. Jürgen Kleinrath , who has served as CEO of our foam division NEVEON since July 2022, has decided to step down to pursue new opportunities outside the company. We sincerely thank Jürgen for his visionary leadership, dedication, and the strong foundation he helped establish. His commitment was instrumental in guiding NEVEON through a transformative phase. At the same time we are pleased to announce that Henning Frings will assume the role of CEO as of August 1. Previously Executive Vice President of our Business Unit Mobility & Specialties, Henning brings strong industry expertise and a deep understanding of NEVEON’s business and culture. He is ideally positioned to lead the division into its next chapter. Please join us in thanking Jürgen and welcoming Henning to his new role 🤗!

Greiner (or rather NEVEON) goes museum 🏛️ We are delighted to be supporting the new special exhibition “More than Recycling” at the Vienna Museum of Science and Technology (@technischesmuseumwien) together with NEVEON. This collaboration is no coincidence – it reflects our strong commitment to circular innovation and a truly functional circular economy. One highlight of the exhibition is NEVEON's Repolyol mattress, which is made of polyols recycled from used mattresses and a special foam produced from mass balance renewable raw materials.
