🏆 Ausgezeichnet mit dem TRIGOS 2026: Große Freude bei der TRIGOS Gala im Kuppelsaal der TU Wien: Unser Pilotprojekt „CO₂-speichernder Radweg aus Pflanzenkohle“ wurde mit dem TRIGOS 2026 in der Kategorie Social Innovation & Future Challenges ausgezeichnet. Gemeinsam mit unseren Projektpartnern wurde ein Asphalt entwickelt, bei dem Pflanzenkohle einen Teil fossiler Rohstoffe im Asphalt ersetzt. Der darin enthaltene Kohlenstoff wird dauerhaft im Straßenbelag gebunden. 🚲 Erprobung unter realen Bedingungen: Der entwickelte Asphalt wurde erstmals in Österreich im realen Infrastruktureinsatz umgesetzt. 🌱 Kohlenstoffbindung: Der entwickelte Asphalt ermöglicht eine dauerhafte Bindung von über 60 Tonnen CO₂ je Kilometer Radweg. ♻️ Regionale Kreislaufwirtschaft: Die eingesetzte Pflanzenkohle stammt aus regionaler Produktion. 🔬 Erkenntnisse für die weitere Entwicklung: Das Pilotprojekt liefert praktische Erkenntnisse zum Einsatz von Pflanzenkohle im Asphalt. 🏆 Die Auszeichnung nahmen Joachim Schmall und Christian Rauch , die das Pilotprojekt von der Entwicklung bis zur Umsetzung begleitet haben, gemeinsam mit Natalie Wierzbicki entgegen. 🤝 Vielen Dank an unsere Projektpartner Forschung Burgenland und GF Martin Zloklikovits , Land Burgenland - Amt der Burgenländischen Landesregierung , Seemanagement Burgenland und Sonnenerde GmbH für die gemeinsame Umsetzung und an die TRIGOS-Jury für diese Auszeichnung. Together with our project partners, we have developed an asphalt in which biochar replaces some of the fossil-based raw materials. Eine Baustelle zum Anfassen: Hinter den Kulissen des neuen Pavillon 6 des Hanusch Krankenhauses 🏥 👀 Einmal hinter den Bauzaun blicken – diese Möglichkeit bekamen die Gewinner eines Gewinnspiels, welches die PORR zusammen mit der Bezirkszeitung Penzing in Wien veranstaltet hat. Im Rahmen einer exklusiven Führung begleiteten die Projektleitung von PORR und ÖGK die interessierten Teilnehmer durch die Baustelle des neuen Pavillon 6 des Hanusch Krankenhauses in Wien. Dort entsteht auf rund 10.500 m2 Bruttogeschossfläche ein modernes Gesundheitsgebäude. Künftig sollen hier 66 Betten, neue Ambulanzen, eine Tagesklinik sowie ein Operationszentrum untergebracht werden. Die Fertigstellung ist für Ende April 2027 geplant. 🚀 It’s a wrap: Die 5. German Datacenter Conference in Bad Vilbel in Deutschland geht zu Ende. Nach zwei intensiven Konferenztagen ist klar: Der Bedarf an Data-Center-Kapazitäten wächst und mit ihm die Anforderungen an Geschwindigkeit, Energieversorgung, Qualität und skalierbare Infrastruktur⚡ Rund 1.100 Teilnehmende kamen zusammen, um zentrale Themen wie AI & Computing, Energie- und Netzinfrastruktur, Standortentwicklung und das Wachstum des deutschen Data-Center-Marktes zu diskutieren. 🚇 Nächster großer Projektschritt für die U5-Verlängerung in Frankfurt: Deckenschluss an der Station Güterplatz erreicht 🎉 Das Team der @PORR Deutschland hat beim Großprojekt „Stadtbahn Europaviertel“ einen wichtigen Baufortschritt erzielt: Der letzte Abschnitt der Stationsdecke der künftigen U5-Station Güterplatz wurde erfolgreich betoniert. Damit ist das unterirdische Bauwerk nach oben geschlossen. Die Station Güterplatz entsteht in rund 24 Metern Tiefe und ist Teil der rund 2,7 Kilometer langen U5-Verlängerung, die das Europaviertel künftig direkt an das Frankfurter U-Bahn-Netz anbinden wird. This means the underground structure is now closed off at the top. The Güterplatz station is being built at a depth of around 24 metres and forms part of the approximately 2.7-kilometre-long U5 extension, which will in future connect the Europaviertel directly to Frankfurt’s underground network. 🚇 Nächster großer Projektschritt für die U5-Verlängerung in Frankfurt: Deckenschluss an der Station Güterplatz erreicht 🎉 Das Team der PORR Deutschland hat beim Großprojekt „Stadtbahn Europaviertel“ einen wichtigen Baufortschritt erzielt: Der letzte Abschnitt der Stationsdecke der künftigen U5-Station Güterplatz wurde erfolgreich betoniert. Damit ist das unterirdische Bauwerk nach oben geschlossen. Im Auftrag der SBEV – Stadtbahn Entwicklung und Verkehrsinfrastrukturprojekte Frankfurt GmbH realisiert PORR dieses bedeutende Infrastrukturprojekt im Herzen Frankfurts. Mit dem erfolgreichen Deckenschluss wurde eine wesentliche Voraussetzung für die nächsten Bauphasen geschaffen, darunter die Verfüllung der Baugrube und die weiteren Rohbauarbeiten. Die Station Güterplatz entsteht in rund 24 Metern Tiefe und ist Teil der rund 2,7 Kilometer langen U5-Verlängerung, die das Europaviertel künftig direkt an das Frankfurter U-Bahn-Netz anbinden wird. This means the underground structure is now closed off at the top. On behalf of SBEV – Stadtbahn Entwicklung und Verkehrsinfrastrukturprojekte Frankfurt GmbH, PORR is carrying out this major infrastructure project in the heart of Frankfurt. The successful completion of the ceiling has paved the way for the next construction phases, including backfilling the excavation pit and further structural work. The Güterplatz station is being built at a depth of around 24 metres and forms part of the approximately 2.7-kilometre-long U5 extension, which will in future connect the Europaviertel directly to Frankfurt’s underground network. 🏗️ Aus Bestand wird Zukunft: @magdashotel Vienna Prater   In der Laufbergergasse 12 im Wiener Prater entsteht aus einem ehemaligen Pflegeheim aus dem Jahr 1975 ein modernes Hotel   ♻️ Re-Use statt Wegwerfen. Zahlreiche Materialien erhalten ein zweites Leben. Unter anderem aufbereitete Holzhandläufe für das neue Stiegenhaus, wiederverwendete Klinker- und Terrazzoplatten aus Bestandsobjekten der Arbeiterkammer Wien & Caritas Wien und Holzplatten der ESC-Bühne, aus dem Betthäupter und Zimmereinrichtungen gefertigt werden.   Fehlerhafte historische Bestandspläne machten statische Umplanungen notwendig. Zudem kamen beim Aushub von rund 800 m³ Erde vergrabene Bauabfälle aus dem Jahr 1975 zum Vorschein, die fachgerecht entsorgt werden mussten.   Umso beeindruckender ist die Leistung aller Beteiligten: Der gesamte Umbau erfolgt ohne Kran und mit höchster Präzision im Bestand 💪 ___   🏗️ Turning the past into the future: @magdashotel Vienna Prater   At Laufbergergasse 12 in Vienna’s Prater, a former care home dating from 1975 is being transformed into a modern hotel.   ♻️ Re-use rather than throw away. Numerous materials are being given a new lease of life. These include refurbished wooden handrails for the new stairwell, reused clinker and terrazzo slabs from existing properties belonging to the Vienna Chamber of Labour and Caritas Vienna, and wooden panels from the ESC stage, which are being used to craft headboards and room furnishings.   Inaccurate historical building plans made structural redesigns necessary.
