Successful Delivery: High Voltage Technology from Austria We’re proud to share a major milestone from our team from Trench Austria: the successful delivery of one of the largest and most powerful 110 kV Arc Suppression Coils (ASC) to the Güssing Substation in Burgenland. CIRED 2025 – A Strong Debut for Trench Group! 🙌 What a fantastic first appearance! Our debut as an exhibitor at CIRED (International Community on Electricity Distribution) in Geneva was a great success – a highlight both for our team and for connecting with the broader power systems community. 💪 We were proud to present our latest innovations in earth fault protection, including the new EFC 70 controller and the ARCC system for Arc Suppression Coils – solutions that align perfectly with the conference’s focus on earth fault detection and localization. Our interactive fault simulation attracted a great deal of attention, vividly demonstrating the impact of our technologies on resilient and safe power networks. This conference is an important international platform for exchanging on the major technology developments in HVDC power systems. 📍 Genoa, located in the Liguria region that is also home to our Italian site, provided the perfect setting for presenting and discussion the latest technology advances and research results. A significant milestone in our investment initiative leading to a doubling of capacities in Austria. We were honored to celebrate this special moment together with distinguished political representatives and renowned customers and with highlights, such as the inspiring opening speech by Governor Thomas Stelzer , who marked our investment as an important sign for the region.
