Upon completion in 2026, the building will become a modern, flexible training and further education center for our #apprentices and #skilledworkers . Klasse der @digitnmsscharnstein ein spannendes Projekt umgesetzt: 🌬️ „𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗧“ – ein selbst konstruiertes Windrad, das Energie für ein Leuchtschild erzeugt. 🔧 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 – 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗧𝗡𝗠𝗦 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 As part of our 2nd Company School Year of our collaboration with the MINTality Stiftung initiative*, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the 2nd grade of the middle school "digiTNMS" in Scharnstein (Upper Austria) on an exciting project: 🌬️“𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗧” – a wind turbine designed and built by the students together with our training workshop. The energy it generated powered an illuminated sign 💡 – a hands-on, creative way to explore renewable energy and engineering. We’re especially proud of our role models Victoria Fasching , Emilia and Nina, who supported the students and shared valuable insights into technical careers. 🤝 Through regular visits – both at our company and at the school – we were able to connect two worlds and create meaningful learning experiences. For us, this marks the beginning of an even closer partnership with the school – and perhaps the first step for some students to becoming future Miba apprentices. 😊 🗣️ A big thank you to the MINTality team for organizing such an inspiring event. Yesterday, our colleagues Robert Hellein and Bernhard Papst took the stage at the Wiener Motorensymposium to share their insights into the performance and efficiency of electrified drivetrains. Their presentation highlighted several critical advancements in electric mobility. Friction systems for torque distribution in axles have proven themselves in performance-oriented combustion engine drivetrains. In electromobility, characterized by increased demands for stability, dynamics, and efficiency, the potential of these systems becomes apparent. This potential can be realized through targeted development of friction partners for multifunctional fluids, vertical integration in manufacturing, adherence to high quality standards, and sustainable production processes. Powder metal components can significantly contribute to the transition to electric powertrains. The PM process has developed new routes such as Die-Wall-Lubrication and Rolling of Inner splines to meet the higher demands of e-Axles. Und Vater Paulo beschreibt selbst am besten, was die gemeinsame Arbeit mit seinem Sohn für ihn ausmacht: „Ich freue mich sehr, dass ich die Gelegenheit habe, einen ganz besonderen Aspekt in meinem Berufsleben zu teilen. Jeder weiß, dass wir einen großen Teil unseres Lebens der Arbeit widmen, aber für mich hat sie eine noch tiefere Bedeutung, da ich die Ehre habe, mit meinem Sohn im selben Unternehmen zu arbeiten. Es ist ein einzigartiges Gefühl, die Herausforderungen und Erfolge des täglichen Lebens mit einem so besonderen Menschen teilen zu können.
