How Can I Design My Product for Vision? Vision systems rely on contrast to accurately inspect and validate components and the design of your product plays a key role in making that possible. At HAHN Automation Group, we help manufacturers design products with vision functionality in mind. Here are a few ways to improve contrast and support more reliable inspection results: ✅ Use Distinctive Materials - Components made from contrasting materials are easier for vision systems to differentiate. If that’s not feasible, even small variations in texture or finish can improve detection. ✅ Optimize for Lighting - Design your product features to work with your production lighting. Unique shapes or contours can enhance visibility and reduce false reads. ✅ Incorporate Geometry - Adding patterns or textures can manipulate light reflection in ways that help vision systems distinguish parts more easily, and lead to more consistent performance. When vision accuracy matters, design is the starting point. With decades of experience in vision integration across MedTech, Electronics, and Automotive, we help you build smarter, inspection-ready systems. 📍 Learn more: https://lnkd.in/eUdHAWeN #VisionSystems #HAHNAutomationGroup #MachineVision #SmartManufacturing #MedTech #ProductDesign
