Welche Möglichkeiten und Chancen sich dabei ergeben, erlebten KMU heute Hands-on bei unserer KI-Werkstatt für den Mittelstand. Im interaktiven Workshop konnten Teilnehmer:innen etwa mit Hilfe von Low Code einen Roboter selbst programmieren oder mehr über die Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Robotern im Anlagenbau und die Vorteile einer virtuellen Inbetriebnahme erfahren. Wie können KI und Robotik den Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland langfristig stärken? Die rheinland-pfälzische Staatssekretärin für Wirtschaft Petra Dick-Walther diskutierte diese Frage im Veranstaltungsauftakt mit Prof. Dr.-Ing. 🎨 From Pixel to Paintbrush: Precision in Every Color How do you mix the perfect shade? Paul Flad and Paul Scherer, two high school students from Simmern (Germany), tackled this challenge with entrepreneurial spirit — and their innovative idea may soon take them all the way to Silicon Valley. Under the name Eucarida , the duo developed TintTranslate — a smart color-mixing machine that uses five base tones and a mobile app to replicate any color from a photo or code. With this solution, they aim to make precise color mixing accessible to artists, schools, and creative minds everywhere. Their business plan impressed the jury of the Jugend gründet competition and earned them a place among the top finalists from over 1,100 entries. The national finals will take place on June 25 in Stuttgart. Great conversations. Great connections. Great people. Yesterday’s Northern Kentucky Manufacturing Expo was a meaningful reminder of why I do what I do. Hosted at the NKU Student Union with a plant tour and networking reception at HAHN Automation Group , the day was filled with engaging panel discussions focused on Next-Generation Leadership and Automation Technologies. Attendees had the prime opportunity to connect through designated 1:1 B2B meetings and explore a room full of innovative exhibitors. This was my fourth time hosting this event, and hearing feedback from attendees that it continues to grow and improve each time genuinely means the world to me. Watching it evolve from ~60 attendees to an average of 130–150 in just 8 months has been one of my proudest accomplishments in this role. It’s incredibly rewarding to see the effort, planning, and long hours translate into something that creates real value for our clients and community. I always enjoy welcoming new attendees and reconnecting with returning faces — your support and enthusiasm fuel this growth. 😊 I want to give a special thank you to Amy Goodson, CDP, SHRM-CP , Cassidy Caid , Brian Dunican, Ed.D. , Chance Harker , Jessica Czirr , Joe Gobis , Richard Horn , Matt Schroff , and Daniel Cavassin for leading such insightful panel discussions and bringing a Commonwealth of knowledge to the room.
