Hi, my name is Marcelino, and #IamHAHN since 2021. I'm a mechatronics engineer by profession, and from the very beginning of my career, I’ve been passionate about advancing in the field of automation. I started at HAHN as an intern, then became a Mechatronics Assembly Technician. Later, I moved into Mechanical Design, and today, I’m proud to be working as a Production Planner in our team in Croatia. Over the years, I’ve taken on a variety of roles and challenges. Each one has helped me grow both professionally and personally. One of the highlights of my journey has been the transition from assembly to engineering and now into production planning. In this role, I contribute to process improvements and provide daily support to various teams across the company. It requires seeing the bigger picture, solving problems quickly, and keeping communication between departments strong. What motivates me most at HAHN is that development opportunities aren't something you have to search for. They’re offered when you show the willingness to learn and put in the effort. The culture of support, openness, and teamwork makes this a great place not just for building a career, but also for personal growth. A Legacy of Innovation and Integrity 💯 After 33 years, we bid farewell to Christian Boos as he enters his well-deserved retirement. On July 1, 1992, Christian began his journey at the HAHN Automation Group - at that time still under the name Waldorf Technik. From his early days in the sales department to leading the design department and then managing the engineering and project management departments: Christian has been foundational in the development of our company, and played a decisive role in shaping our culture and technologies. In the last three years, he returned to his roots in sales - coming full circle back to where his journey with the company began. During his time with the company, Christian developed many of the technical concepts that are still setting standards today. Ten patent applications name him as an inventor - many more as a contributor. He was many things: a provider of ideas, an inventor, a valued colleague and superior, a mentor - and above all: a personality that inspires confidence. Colleagues describe him as authentic, honest, appreciative, with natural authority and high ethical standards. Christian was and remains a role model - both professionally and personally. Hi, my name is Ivan Levatić, Account Manager in Customer Service, and I am HAHN since 2022! The growth opportunities have been incredible, from starting as a mechanical assembly technician to working as a service technician and advancing to my current role. Interestingly, before joining HAHN Croatia, I never thought I would work in a service department. Now, I can’t imagine doing anything else. One of the things I value most is having the chance to work with people from all over the world. A standout experience for me was collaborating with the German service team and being part of the commissioning team for the first HAHN machines delivered to customers in Serbia. Every day is different in the Croatian Customer Service team, full of challenges, surprises, and constant communication with customers and various departments. I enjoy the fast pace and the fact that there’s never a dull moment, whether it’s responding to a last-minute service request, preparing offers, or helping customers solve technical issues. Visiting customers, tailoring solutions, and providing support outside of direct service work are new experiences for our Croatian team, and they are incredibly rewarding.
