Chemical recycling is transforming the industry by converting end-of-life plastics into circular solutions. At #OMV , we are leading the way with ReOil®, our proprietary chemical recycling technology that turns hard-to-recycle plastics into circular solutions. Our cutting-edge technology produces high-quality, circular feedstock for the production of primarily chemicals, in particular new plastics. The new ReOil® plant in Schwechat can process up to 16,000 metric tons of end-of-life plastic annually. By continuously advancing the technology, we are helping to drive the transition to a circular economy, enabling a more sustainable lifestyle.
Wittau Project Milestone: Building Austria’s Energy Future Together! #OMV has reached a significant milestone in the Wittau gas project with the final investment decision now in place to progress with the next stage of the construction. This achievement is a major step forward in strengthening Austria’s domestic energy supply. Thanks to the commitment and collaboration of our team, we have also received all the necessary permits and begun construction activities, including preparations for the dehydration plant and transport pipelines. Bell ringing ceremony in New York - #OMV as first Austrian company on OTCQX® Best Market OMV was approved to trade on the OTCQX® Best Market in the US in early May and we celebrated this week our recent admission with a bell ringing ceremony in New York. The event, attended by Reinhard Florey, CFO, and Florian Greger provides an excellent opportunity to showcase OMV to a broad US audience. OMV is now the first Austrian issuer on OTCQX®. This upgrade enhances access for US investors, strengthens our compliance standards, and increases our visibility in the US market—all while maintaining our primary listing on the Vienna Stock Exchange. Both OMV’s sponsored ADRs and Ordinary Shares are now traded on OTCQX®. “With a strong foundation of international investors, this move further enhances the accessibility and visibility of our shares to both U.S. institutional and retail investors and it provides them with an opportunity to participate in OMV's growth and financial strength. Progress Update: Berling’s subsea gas infrastructure takes shape Gas is central to OMV's strategy as a crucial transitional fuel and we’re accelerating efforts to increase its share to over 60% of our portfolio. The Berling natural gas development in Norway is a key project contributing to this goal. We’ve just hit a major milestone in the Berling Project - successfully installing the integrated template structure (ITS) and manifold at the Berling field. This brings us a step closer to completing the subsea infrastructure for future production. Beyond the technical achievement, this project reinforces our commitment to energy security and supply diversification across Europe.
