We have not forgotten the people of Nepal after the devastating floods there in August. Even weeks after the disaster, many families remain cut off from essential supplies, having lost loved ones, homes and vital infrastructure. Nepal is shaped by natural hazards such as earthquakes and flooding; in October, further flash floods caused severe destruction. That is why the WACKER Hilfsfonds (relief fund) has provided immediate support and is continuing our long-standing commitment to Nepal. Together with the Sano Madad association, urgently needed food and relief supplies are reaching affected communities, including remote mountain regions that remain difficult to access. For WACKER, solidarity does not end when the headlines fade. Since the 2015 earthquake, we have stood alongside the people of Gati, supporting the reconstruction of schools and contributing to educational opportunities for children and young people. This commitment is made possible not only thanks to the relief fund, but also thanks to the generosity of our employees. An employee donation program enables colleagues to support humanitarian projects worldwide with one-time or regular donations. Chemical reactions takes place in specially designed reactors. We have now achieved a sensation 🚀 a reactor that is 3D-printed and welded from metal and which can withstand temperatures of 150 °C and, above all, intense pressure of 100 bar. The design included countless connections and extremely fine cooling channels would not have been possible using conventional manufacturing methods. Big thank you to KSB Company , who printed the reactor using a selective laser melting process ✏️afterwards welded together at our central workshops 🔥 The innovative component was successfully certified by TÜV in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive, achieving the highest category of 4. The new pilot reactor shows the potential of metal 3D printing, but also how we are driving innovation forward. Yeah!

We have signed an agreement with bayernets GmbH to reserve future hydrogen transport capacity in the Burghausen H2 Cluster / HyPipe one yesterday. Green hydrogen is an important building block on the path to a climate-neutral chemicals industry. That is why we are already investing in partnerships, infrastructure, and new areas of application. A strong signal for the future of our production sites in Germany: Effective October 1, Jutta Matreux (photo center) will take over as Site Manager of WACKER’s Burghausen plant, which, with approximately 8,000 employees, is our largest plant worldwide. She succeeds Dr. Peter von Zumbusch (left), who will be taking over as Head of the WACKER Polysilicon business division on the same date. Matreux, who holds a PhD and is an experienced manager, held various positions in the Polymers division and in Corporate Development before taking over as Site Manager of the Nünchritz plant in 2019. It is with great dedication that she has further developed the site, overseen key investment projects, and played a leading role in advancing the areas of safety, sustainability and future viability. She will be succeeded by Georgia Wollmann. Wollmann, who holds a PhD in chemistry, has been acquainted with the Nünchritz site for many years. She has held various management positions in production, development, quality management, and portfolio management, and has therefore gained in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the site. WACKER is setting the course for the further development of its polysilicon business: Effective October 1, Dr. Peter von Zumbusch will take over as Head of the global Polysilicon division. With his in-depth knowledge of the company, his international experience, and his strong technical and strategic expertise, he is ideally qualified to continue the successful growth of our business. For about 30 years, Zumbusch has played a key role at WACKER in senior management positions both in Germany and abroad, most recently as Site Manager of our Burghausen plant. At the same time, we are bidding farewell to Tobias Brandis, who will be leaving the company at his own request to take on the role of Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Daimler Truck AG. Brandis was appointed Head of the Polysilicon business division in 2016 and has had a lasting impact on its development. Under his leadership, the division has undergone significant further development over the past ten years, particularly through its consistent focus on semiconductor-grade polysilicon. Mission accomplished! 🏭🚀 After two years of construction, we officially opened our new production facility for specialty silicones in Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic, today. Another milestone in WACKER’s commitment to grow its specialties business has now been completed. Customers, politicians, our landlord Accolade and our developer Panattoni Development Company gathered at the new site to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony. In the future, Karlovy Vary will produce highly customized ready to use silicones for growth markets in the field of electric mobility, electronics, medical technology, and grid expansion. For the challenges and megatrends of our time. With Karlovy Vary, WACKER is optimizing its production network in Europe. From Molecules to Miracles – Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence in South Korea This year marks a significant milestone for WACKER in South Korea. Since establishing Wacker Chemicals Korea Inc. in 1996, we've been committed to driving innovation and delivering excellence across the region. In 2026, we proudly celebrate 30 years of WACKER’s journey in Korea—three decades of partnership, progress, and shared success. Key highlights from this journey include: • In 2008, we expanded our presence by acquiring the vinyl acetate ethylene (VAE) polymers business, including the Ulsan production facilities. • In 2010, we strengthened our silicones portfolio by acquiring the Lucky Silicone brand and the Jincheon production plant from Henkel Technologies Korea Ltd. • To foster stronger market presence and technology development, we opened the COEE (Center of Electronics Excellence) silicones R&D center in 2012 and consolidated our R&D and office operations in Pangyo. • In 2018, we relocated our polymers technical R&D center to Anyang, Seoul, to better serve the growing construction market in Asia. • April 2018: Opening of new Jincheon production site, response to growing regional demand for silicone elastomers in the construction, electronics and automotive industries. Also, moved our Polymers R&D center to Anyang and opened new lab there. • September 2019: Expansion of polymers production site Ulsan: New facilities for dispersible polymer powders to meet growing demand from construction industry in Korea and other Asian countries, went on stream in Ulsan • November 2021: WACKER opened Silicones PSA competence center and consumer care technical center and extended its Polymers technical and R&D facilities in Anyang.
